I am a Consultant, Lecturer and a Hardware Technician (Component Level repairs) holding more than 32 years experience in the Electronic field (can handle any kind of electronic equipment currently available in Sri Lanka) and holding more than 18 years experience in IT industry related to repairs. Also fluent in English & Sinhalese and can understand and speak little bit of Tamil. During this period I have worked for leading Computer vendors in Sri Lanka.
At the moment my main area is in Consulting and Lecturing on Linux Based Server Configuration and Administration areas on Linux. I first stepped in to Linux during 1993/1994. I was working on Unix based computers, since Linux being a clone of Unix I was really keen on Linux. After working on it for so many years, experimenting by installing and configuring this OS I gained a lot of knowledge covering the major concepts. As the Linux community kept growing, new versions were released rapidly. I was very successful in catching up with the growth of this OS.

As a hobby in 1999 I started to develop a Linux falovour. After doing the basic development I had to stop the project. In March 2003 I started it again and have developed complete 2 versions up to now. The first successfull Sri Lankan verision (A tailored version for Sri Lankan needs) was on 14th of April, 2003 (code named Sigiriya ) and the 2nd Release was on May 1st 2003 (code named Nilmanel).
